Our silicone scar stick and any other skincare or cosmetic products (collectively "Products") are cosmetic products intended for external topical use only. These Products are NOT medical devices, are NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, medical condition, or health problem, and are NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You should consult with a qualified healthcare professional, general practitioner, dermatologist, or physician before using our Products, especially if you:

• Have any pre-existing medical conditions or skin conditions
• Are pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant
• Are taking any medications (prescription or over-the-counter)

(e) You will discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention if you experience any adverse reaction, irritation, discomfort, or unexpected symptoms.

(f) Individual results vary significantly and we make no guarantees about effectiveness, suitability, safety, or results for your specific situation.

(g) You accept that cosmetic and skincare products carry inherent risks including but not limited to allergic reactions, skin irritation, unexpected interactions, and unpredictable individual responses.

(h) You release Luminyouth from any and all liability, claims, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your purchase, possession, or use of our Products.

21.3 Allergic Reactions and Skin Sensitivity

You are solely and completely responsible for:

(a) Carefully reviewing all product ingredients before purchase to identify any substances to which you may be allergic, sensitive, or reactive.

(b) Researching any unfamiliar ingredients and their potential effects on your skin type.

(c) Performing a patch test on a small, inconspicuous area of skin before full application.

(d) Monitoring your skin's reaction to the Product during and after each use.

(e) Recognizing signs of adverse reactions including but not limited to: redness, itching, burning, stinging, swelling, rash, hives, blistering, peeling, discolouration, increased sensitivity, pain, or any discomfort.

(f) Immediately discontinuing use upon experiencing any adverse reaction.

(g) Seeking immediate medical attention for severe reactions including but not limited to: difficulty breathing, swelling of face/throat/tongue, severe rash, or anaphylaxis.

Warning: Even if you have never experienced allergic reactions to cosmetic products before, you may still develop a reaction to our Products. Allergic reactions can occur at any time, even after previous successful use. Prior tolerance does not guarantee future tolerance.

21.4 Limitation of Liability for Adverse Reactions

To the maximum extent permitted under Irish law and EU law, Luminyouth, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and licensors shall not be liable for any adverse reactions, allergic responses, skin irritation, skin damage, scarring, discolouration, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, burns, infections, complications, medical expenses, pain, suffering, emotional distress, or any other negative effects or damages of any kind whatsoever resulting from or related to the purchase, possession, use, or misuse of our Products.

This limitation of liability includes but is not limited to damages, injuries, or effects arising from or related to:

(a) Allergic reactions to any ingredient, including ingredients you were not previously aware you were allergic to.

(b) Skin irritation, burning, stinging, itching, redness, inflammation, or discomfort of any kind.

(c) Worsening of existing scars, skin conditions, or medical conditions.

(i) Contamination during shipping, storage, or after opening.

(j) Use of Product past expiration date or on damaged/broken skin.

(k) Failure to perform patch test or ignoring signs of adverse reaction.

(l) Use of Product contrary to warnings, instructions, or medical advice.

(m) Psychological distress, disappointment, or emotional harm related to Product use or results.

(n) Lost time, lost wages, medical expenses, or any economic losses.

(o) Any other direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.

This limitation applies regardless of whether you followed instructions correctly, performed a patch test, have known allergies, the Product was used as intended, you sought medical advice before use, the severity of the reaction or damage, or whether the reaction was foreseeable or predictable.

21.5 No Guarantees or Warranties Regarding Results

We make no warranties, guarantees, representations, or promises whatsoever about:

(a) The effectiveness, efficacy, or performance of our Products for any particular purpose, skin type, or condition.

(b) The timeframe, if any, for seeing any results or improvements.

(c) Whether any results achieved will be permanent, long-lasting, or maintained over time.

(d) Whether our Products will work for your specific skin type, scar type, condition, or situation.

(e) Whether our Products will be suitable, safe, or appropriate for all users or for you specifically.

(f) That our Products will not cause adverse reactions in any particular individual.

(g) That our Products will meet your expectations or achieve your desired outcomes.

(h) That our Products are superior to or comparable with any other products.

21.6 Proper Use and Instructions

You agree to and are solely responsible for:

(b) Reading and understanding all warnings, contraindications, and precautions before use.

(c) Not using Products past their expiration date or "best before" date (if applicable).

(d) Storing Products according to instructions (typically in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight).

(e) Keeping Products properly sealed when not in use.

(f) Not using Products for any purpose other than their intended cosmetic use.

(g) Not applying Products to: open wounds, broken skin, cuts, infected areas, actively bleeding areas, fresh surgical incisions, or any compromised skin unless specifically approved by your healthcare professional.

(h) Not sharing Products with other individuals (to prevent cross-contamination).

(i) Keeping Products out of reach of children and pets.

(j) Discontinuing use if Product changes in appearance, smell, texture, or consistency.

(k) Not ingesting, inhaling, or applying to eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.

(l) Washing hands before and after application.

Do not use our Products if you:

• Are allergic to any listed ingredient
• Have active skin infections or conditions at the application site

(e) That Products will not be affected by extreme temperatures during shipping or improper storage.

(f) That the Product has not been tampered with after leaving our control.

You acknowledge that once a Product is opened and used, we cannot control how it is stored, handled, or applied, and we accept no liability for any issues arising from improper storage, contamination after opening, or mishandling by the customer.

21.8 Returns and Refunds for Cosmetic Products

Important Notice: Due to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, we may not be able to accept returns of opened, used, partially used, or unsealed cosmetic products.

Our Refund Policy for cosmetic and skincare products is as follows:

• Unopened, sealed Products in original packaging may be eligible for return within the timeframe specified in our Refund Policy, subject to restocking fees and other conditions.
• Opened, used, or partially used Products generally cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded due to health and safety regulations.
• Defective Products: If you receive a Product that is genuinely defective (damaged packaging, contaminated, expired, or not as described), contact us immediately with photographic evidence. We will assess claims on a case-by-case basis.

International Customers: If you are ordering from outside of Ireland or the European Union, you are solely responsible for:
